Apply ample amount of calamine lotion to rash once hydrocortisone cream has dried. This will help to stop itching and will heal rash.


Avoid item that caused your allergic reaction rash. Often, people develop these rashes after switching laundry detergents, soaps, or lotions.


If allergic reaction rash does not resolve in 1 to 2 days, visit your physician. He may give you prescription strength anti-histamines and lotions to apply to affected area. He may also elect to perform allergy testing to determine what you are allergic to to prevent further episodes.
